Hello,

i've a pre-backup event with a batch .bat performing a mysqldump of a database (producing a .sql file). I've tried to exit this .bat with an error code if something's wrong but Cobian does ignore the return value of .bat execution, so i cannot have an email to inform that backup is failed. Here's my event:
EXECUTEANDWAIT,"C:\Data\Backup\mysqldump\dobackup.bat DBANME"

If .bat fail it returns error code 1 but EXECUTEANDWAIT seems ignore it. Is there any way to check for error code and stop the entire task ?

Hello!

Unfortunately this is not possible. The "failing" mode means that the program or batch couldn't be started. The result is not checked, though. crying
